The department provide certain major equipments and advanced software’s which are useful for research activities, such as :
LIST OF MAJOR EQUIPMENTS :

1.Mossbauer Spectrometer system (4096 channels). Type – MC 1003.

2. Multi frequency ultrasonic interferometer (0.03% accuracy) with sample cells and the data acquisition system and plotter.

3. Setup for the measurement of B-H Curve and susceptibility (Electronic version).

4. Setup for measuring the resistivity of material by four probe method.

SOFTWARE NAME : Material Explorer (Single User License).

SOFTWARE DETAILS : Material Explorer is a multi-purpose molecular dynamics software package designed to work with system that conventional MD software cannot handle, for example ceramics and semi-conductors. Materials Explore; has a potential Library that includes potential functions and parameters for a wide range of atom-toatom interactions from Fujitsu.
